Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, warm the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper generously on both sides of the salmon fillets.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin side up, and cook undisturbed for 5 minutes.
  4. Carefully flip the fillets and continue cooking for another 5-6 minutes.
  5. Remove the salmon from the pan and set aside. In the same skillet, add the butter and let it melt.
  6. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
  7. Add the lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste, then return the salmon to the pan.
  8. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the salmon before serving.
