  • 500 Grams Chicken
  • 2 Large Onions (Sliced)
  • 2 Tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 Tsp Red chilli powder
  • ¼ Tsp Turmeric powder
  • ½ Tsp Coriander powder
  • Black pepper
  • ¼ Tsp Garam masala powder
  • 2 Tbsp Coconut oil
  • Curry leaves
  • Coconut oil for frying onions
  • Salt to taste

Equipment

  • Deep frying pan or kadai
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Spatula or large spoon
  • Slotted spoon

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Deep fry the sliced onions until golden brown in color. make sure that it doesn't burn.
  2. Marinate chicken with all ingredients mentioned above.
  3. Add fried onions into the chicken and cook it on medium flame until chicken is cooked and the gravy is reduced and dry.

This style of chicken works brilliantly as an appetizer, a side dish for rice, or stuffed into a soft flatbread for a quick lunch.
